There are places in the world you may have a visit and say “Oh it was very nice”, there may places you say “It was amazing” and there are places you just pass by and stay for 5 Years. Thats what happend to me.
Dahab, means “Gold” in Arabic and this former Bedouine FisherVillage is located in the southeast cost of sinai at the red sea.
You can not compare that place with the big tourist areas in egypt. That little Dahab is special. Most people speak english, very important for a good communication and you also will meet foreigners from all over the world. Not just freaks and hippies as it was before in the 80s. Now there are many well educated expatriates, who just like to live another life. More quit, more relaxt.
