I became resistant in about 52 wks and then added Hepsera. My Alt is normal now (originally 900). My Dna reached a level of <100 about 6-8 months ago and my E antigen has went from positive to negative on the last blood test 7/08. We are testing for e Antibodies on next blood test. My Dr.is changing me to viread as soon as my hepsera runs out in l month ( I will also continue lamivudine until I run out in about 2 months), so it willl be a slower transformation from both drugs to eventually just Viread. He said he is waiting for e antibodies and then will have me continue on viread for one year and then possibly off all medication. With the above explanation, do you think everything is going along normal and within normal procedures. Could you give me a percentage of hope that I may clear the disease totally if I keep going as I am. Thank you for your dedicated help with my problem.
